Bateman-Hall, Inc. is committed to exceeding all environmental requirements. Our experience working with large corporations has made us a leader on Storm Water Pollution Prevention. We take pride in the environment, and strive to keep communities clean and environmentally safe. 

 Our Project Managers and Superintendents receive EPA-Approved Storm Water Compliance Training each year. This training certifies them in the areas of erosion and sediment control, the different control measures available, proper BMP installation and maintenance, and how to properly inspect and record the conditions at a construction site. 

 We implement and maintain the necessary SWPPP and file the required EPA forms with regulatory agencies. We are committed to keeping all projects in full compliance with all environmental standards and regulations.

Environmental

Bateman-Hall relies on the knowledge and experience of its Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure the implementation of the specifications and quality requirements. As the front-line defense, the Superintendents closely monitor each installation for quality control and communicate their expectations to the contractors performing work in the field. Having thoroughly vetted the contractors through the procurement phase of the project, Bateman-Hall has confidence in the construction team's ability to perform work correctly the first time. In addition, the Project Manager, as well as Bateman-Hall executives, frequently visit the jobsite throughout the course of construction to chart progress and give guidance.

Job site safety has always been a top priority for Bateman-Hall. Our full-time Safety Director makes regular visits to each project to help ensure a safe work environment. CPR, first aid, and OSHA training are provided for both new and seasoned employees. 
  • Partnered with OHSA Partnership Program since 2001
  • Superintendents are required to have 30 hours of OSHA training
  • Superintendents are all certified as competent person
  • Bateman-Hall is a Drug-Free Workplace
  • Mandated Weekly Safety Meetings
  • Safety Director is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week

Self-Performing Capabilities

Bateman-Hall will only self-perform work if it is in the best interest of the client and the project. We always take competitive bids in order to ensure the best possible price for the work.

When it is beneficial or adds value to a project, Bateman-Hall, Inc. self-performs construction with its own forces. Self-performing work such as concrete, rough carpentry, finish carpentry and steel erection can achieve significant savings in time and budget.

Sustainability - LEEDTM Construction


Bateman-Hall has a great interest in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program promoted by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The LEED Green Building Rating SystemTM is nationally accepted for the design, construction, and operation of high-performance "green" buildings.

 There are both environmental and financial benefits to earning LEEDTM certification, such as: 

  • Improve air and water quality 
  • Reduce solid waste sent to landfills 
  • Conserve energy and water 
  • Lowering operating costs 
  • Provide healthier and safer environment for occupants 
  • Reducing harmful greenhouse gas emissions 

 Bateman-Hall has full-time LEED Accredited ProfessionalsTM on staff to complete any LEEDTM project. They play a key role in guiding the project team through each step of the process ensuring a successful and sustainable project.

Warranty


From the turnover stage to beyond each project's one-year warranty period, Bateman-Hall's exclusive warranty division takes a proactive approach to providing owners with the satisfaction they should expect from their general contractor. 

  • Bateman-Hall's Warranty Manager is on site at the turnover of the valued property 
  • Provides an initial inspection of the site for proper installation and functionality of site landscaping and irrigation, weather proofing, plumbing and fixtures, energy management components, doors and hardware, and finishes
  • At year-end, another warranty/quality inspection with owner representatives to ensure the value of the facility is still superior
  • Dedicated solely to resolving concerns and issues posed by owners, clients, and tenants after building occupation
  • Provides support, guidance, and coordination for owner issues and concerns that fall outside the warranty coverage
  • Our goal is 100% satisfaction - from move-in day, throughout the first year, and for the many, many years that follow
  • The warranty division at Bateman-Hall is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Immediate response and dispatch if problems occur
  • Warranty management is a full-time commitment
